"Sweet Party" on the St. Valentine's Day

February 14, 2010, at 21:00, The Lipetsk Regional Youth Organization "Association of Young Students”, together with the Lipetsk Regional Center for youth initiatives and projects implementation organized a “sweet party” celebrating the St. Valentine's Day in the “Megapolis” cultural and entertainment center.

A lot of energetic young people filled the dance floor long before the event. One of the many surprises of the party was a charming presenter - Evgeny Merinov. Lambent jokes, little white wings and a fluffy halo forced smile each of those present. Contests for loving couples were held to check the strength of their feelings - from fervent declaration of love and counting of the merits of a fair companion to the works of poetry and finding of ways to man’s heart. All participants were awarded sweet prizes from the Baskin Robbins Cafe.

For the young people at the party not to forget about their own health and that of a loved one, an AIDS-Center’s safe island was organized. The still lonely hearts were invited to try to find their halves. Ardent declarations of love, love statues and valentines created by the participants were alternated with the sets of DJ Kotikoff.

St. Valentine's Day this year coincided with another, no less exciting holiday - Pancake Week. Therefore, the organizers organized a contest of pancakes. The program of the evening included the performance of the Lipetsk break-dancers team - «Dynamic Lifestyle». The culmination of the evening was the awarding of the winners, a loving couple Dmitry and Anna, a huge ‘heart’ – a cake from the "Appolinaria" coffee house, as well as a gift certificate from the "Scarlett" beauty shop. The girls were presented with red roses from the «Del Rio» flower house. In the course of a festive night, a disco for lovers was organized. The musical accompaniment was provided by DJ Kotikoff and DJ White.

This event was a part of the "Look at Life from a Different Angle" media campaign implemented by the FOCUS-MEDIA Foundation.
